The Electoral Commission of the National Union of Ghanaian Students is set to release the Vetting results on Tuesday, ahead of their congress.
An insider information reaching www.ghananewsmail.com has alleged that “The Electoral Commission disqualified the 2 presidential candidates after they appeared before the vetting committee and were scrutinized in accordance with the provisions that regulates the qualifications of aspirants. These disqualified aspirants were largely disqualified due to false representation, misrepresentation, inadequacies, omissions and irregularities found on their forms and underperformance at their vetting which goes greatly against the qualification requirements.
NUGS over the years has been divided until the previous administration headed by Tinkaro fought hard to make it United and the current President Isaac Jay Hyde has maintained the unity so far. But, the disqualification of the two presidential candidates makes the whole unity progress scary since potential court cases may arise to halt the NUGS Congress scheduled for 30th April.
www.ghananewsmail.com can state on record, the probability of the NUGS Congress is very low and impossible since the 2 disqualified presidential candidates are desperately looking for power and wants to become president at all.
The Electoral Commission of the National Union of Ghanaian Students is expected to appear on Youth Empowerment TV Show on Tuesday at 1pm to announce the qualified and disqualified candidates to all students across the country. The show hosted by Richmond Amofa Sarpong looks to be a red hot show on Tuesday as almost all Ghanaians will be glued on their TV set and on Facebook to hear the breathtaking announcement.
